An Aires Aero Boeing 737 hase broken apart into several pieces whilst landing during a thunder storm at San Andres Island airport, Colombia.
The Boeing 737 was flying from Bogota to San Andres Island and was attempting to land during the thuder storm. It is thought that the Boeing aircraft may have been hit by a lightening strike as it approached the airport runway. The aircraft broke into three sections.
There were 131 passengers and crew on board the Aires Aero Boeing, 121 passengers, four children and six crew.
So far the full extent of the crash and the number of injured passengers has not been releashed.
