Boeing 787 continues Dream Tour down under

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner tour is spending its last day at Sydney International Airport in Australia, on the seventh and final leg of the global Dream Tour.

It’s the last day today of a four day visit to Australia, as guests invited by Boeing and 787 customers Qantas and Jetstar have been able to see this new aircraft in the flesh. This tour has given the guest an opportunity to tour the 787 aircraft, known as ZA003, which has been outfitted with the Dreamliner’s many innovative cabin features including a welcoming entryway, dramatically larger dimmable windows, bigger bins and dynamic LED lighting.

Sydney is the Dream Tour’s first stop “Down Under”. It is Australia’s most populous and recognizable city – sandwiched between the stunning Sydney Harbour and iconic Bondi Beach. Sydney is also home to Qantas which, in 1959, became the first airline outside of the United States to take delivery of the Boeing 707. Australian airlines have ordered every Boeing jet developed since then.

The 787 is due to depart soon for its next stop in Auckland, touching down at the home of another Boeing customer, Air New Zealand.
