IAG Cargo announced today the integration of its cargo businesses with the launch of its new website.
The new air cargo site will provide customers with a single point of contact for both British Airways World Cargo and Iberia Cargo where they will be able to view information on the entire IAG Cargo network.
Air cargo customers will now be able to access the combined Iberia Cargo and British Airways World Cargo schedules, use the joint track and trace functionality, find worldwide sales and customer service contacts and download detailed product information.
Angel Luis Cabeza Rivas, IAG Cargo Senior Vice President (SVP) of eBusiness & Platform said: “Our investment in a new, joint website is testimony to our commitment to improving the customer experience and realising the benefits of the integration of our two cargo businesses. We plan to develop the site further and make online bookings available to all our customers in the near future. Over a quarter of IAG Cargo bookings are currently made online and customers are increasingly looking for easier ways to interact with us. Our online presence is a key part of our strategy.”
Earlier this year IAG Cargo released an iPhone and Android phone app. This free app enables customers to track and trace air freight and access information on IAG Cargo’s extensive global schedules and networks.
