Boeing has delivered another Next-Generation 737-800, this time to Jin Air.
Jin Air, a low-cost affiliated company of Korean Air currently fly to 16 destinations across Asia from South Korea including Guam, Hong Kong and Bangkok.
This aircraft is the 13th Boeing 737-800 to join Jin Air’s all-Boeing fleet. Along with the 737 aircraft, the airline also operate two 777-200ER airliners.
This new edition offers a bigger wing, longer range and higher speed. The aircraft incorporates an advanced technology wing design that helps increase fuel efficiency. Each wing is increased by approximately 18 feet (5.5 m) providing 30 percent more fuel capacity as well.
Combine this increase with the 8-foot (2.4-m)-long wingtip extensions and you get the full package -enhanced range, fuel efficiency and take-off performance while lowering carbon emissions, engine maintenance costs and noise.
